The Lambda - Columbia University - Established 1842
The Lambda Chapter of Psi Upsilon occupies this brownstone on 114th Street, directly across from Columbia's main campus. The four floor pre-war structure is home to 14 brothers, living in three doubles and eight singles. Each room has hardwood flooring, 11 foot ceilings and plenty of space. URH (University Residence Halls) maintains the building, performs any necessary repairs, and cleans the common spaces. Brownstones like this one repeatedly rate higher in occupant satisfaction than any Columbia housing. Housing is distributed in the fraternity by our own lottery system.

The centerpiece of the main floor is the foosball table. Alumni and undergraduates gather around this true Lambda landmark to do battle and establish superiority. Not far away is the “Wall of Shame,” with the historic 81-0 pantsing of Mole holding the highest honor.
