Stephen Yao hails from Porter Ranch, a suburb of Los Angeles that his friends back home refer to as the edge of nowhere. During his four years at North Hollywood High School, he learned how to get by while doing as little work as possible. After graduating from North Hollywood in 2004, Stephen came to Columbia, were he is now a sophmore in the SEAS class of 2008. If he ever gets around to opening a textbook, he should be a biomedical engineer by then. When not at Psi U, there is a 90% possibility he is either asleep or in front of a television. During his brief moments of non-laziness, he enjoys playing tennis and looking out for beach parties.
